Student-led project brings to life a festival committed to the socio-ecological transition at the ULB Student-led project brings to life a festival committed to the socio-ecological transition at the ULB ======================================================================================================= CIVIS Highlights 11 Απριλίου 2025 *FestiJuste,* a festival on socio-ecological transition, launched its second edition as part of the [CIVIS Student-led projects](https://civis.eu/el/discover-civis-alliance/our-work/student-led-projects). The event hosted an associative village, bringing together a number of committed groups such as Rethinking Economics, the Brigade Paysanne, the Repair Café and Binabi. ![](/storage/files/festijust-07042025.jpg) ©ULB, Esther Malice Organised mid-March at the ULB by the **Students in Transition Office (SiTO)**, this edition of FestiJuste was a collaboration between ULB, Aix-Marseille Université (amU) and the University of Stockholm (SU). amU was represented by the **La Sauce association**, which aims to encourage Aix-Marseille students to develop and implement committed projects. During the fist day of the festival, the participants had a lot of fun playing bubble football and volleyball. A tombola with lots of solidarity prizes to be won was also organised. On the second day, FestiJuste hosted the *‘triple arpentage’* - a collective reading of three major works on ecological and social thought. The project received CIVIS funding through its Student-led project call. Students mobilise for a just transition --------------------------------------- Founded in 2021, the SiTO is a student body for mobilisation and consultation on the transition at the University which defines an annual programme of activities, surveys or actions related to the ecological transition it wishes to carry out during the academic year. Integrating members of student circles and offices, the SiTO brings together, federates and supports students who wish to carry out sustainability projects within the ULB.
